The role

You will lead a team of Operatives to carry out gardening and grounds maintenance duties and deliver advice to residents, colleagues and clients.

You will carry out tree and gardening, grounds maintenance and other general repairs whilst also being responsible for own safe working practices. You must be able to locate properties and grounds in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions.

You will organise a gardening schedule effectively and independently whilst documenting all works done efficiently and accurately.

Please note, a full UK driving licence is essential.

 

The right fit

  • Demonstrable experience of horticulture and/or landscape maintenance.
  • Knowledge of horticultural procedures and the safe use of equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, chippers and hand tools.  
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Awareness of relevant health and safety protocols.  
  • Ability to keep accurate records.  
  • Experience of dealing with the public on a regular basis.  
  • Full UK driving licence.
