The role

Our Electrical Supervisors at M&Y oversee the delivery of internal and external contracts across but not limited to, Responsive Repairs, Electrical testing programme, Void properties and planned investment works ensuring customer centricity is at the heart of everything we do.

You will work collaboratively with all clients to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective service. You’ll also be required to manage the performance of operatives/subcontractors ensuring appointments, targets, customer satisfaction, compliance and policies are met. You would be expected to attend sites weekly to carry out inspections.

 

The right fit

  • City & Guilds or NVQ 3 equivalent in electro technical subject – Essential
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & inspection or equivalent – Essential
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations – Essential
  • Previous experience of being the QS within a company and conversant with NICEIC documentation and guidelines.
  • Working within the social housing sector and dealing with the general public
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, to meet deadlines and agreed targets, and working on own initiative
  • Full UK driving licence, if required cover on call emergency duties as part of a rota
